IIEMSA campus project

Title: “Toss & Talk: An Interactive Campus Activation on Technology-Facilitated Gender-Based Violence (TFGBV)”

The objective of the event was to:

  • Raise awareness about the different forms of TFGBV among students.
  • Educate students on identifying and responding to online abuse, manipulation, and harassment.
  • Promote available support systems, including the IIEMSA counselling unit.
  • Encourage active student participation through a fun, inclusive, and thought-provoking experience.
The activity carried out by the group was an interactive Bean Bag Toss game with an educational twist. Each target on the game board will be associated with a TFGBV-related concept or category (e.g., Gaslighting, Revenge Porn, Consent, Online Harassment, etc.).

When participants score, they will draw a card that either:
  • Defines a concept,
  • Poses a scenario to discuss or act out,
  • Offers a fun reward, or
  • Provides an opportunity to reflect or share insights.
The game was designed to stimulate conversation, peer learning, and awareness in a low-pressure environment.
